Ballgalacy Southpark

Ballgalacy Southpark

Context: Yes, Ballgalacy Southpark is the correct spelling. All I know about them as a character is that they're a sentient plane. I couldn't remember the design in the dream well enough so I went with a Concorde-esque design (with elements of Fireflash from Thunderbirds).

Baseball Guy

Baseball Guy

Context: Had a fever dream that a baseball-playing robot named Baseball Guy was my "Beatles OC". I had just joined the "Beatles fandom", which had nothing to do with the band (or with beetles for that matter), other than possibly being loosely inspired by Yellow Submarine? It was a collab about a surreal world that we had to design characters for, and Baseball Guy's whole shtick was playing baseball in a world where no one else does. I wasn't very happy with the design in the dream and I'm not sure exactly why. But I had an impression that since I'm trans and not a guy, apparently the same should be true of Baseball Guy? Baseball... Gal??

And so I made her trans. As a treat

Baseball Gal

Cass and Prince Laura

Cass Laura

Context: He/him and she/her respectively. No clue what kind of beings they are or what kind of world they exist in.

Catbeans

Catbeans

Context: None

Destroy the Universe

Destroy the Universe

Context: I think it's a death battle of some kind with the fate of the universe at stake. Game show? Video game? Video game about a game show? And then of course Hatsune Miku is there and she has superpowers...

Flesh Reasons and Brama Tak

Flesh Reasons Brama Tak

Context: None. None of these characters have names, not even descriptive ones.

Frog Converter and Zog Converter

Frog Converter and Zog Converter

Context: I think they should kiss. I don't think they have lips but I'm sure they'll work something out.

Get Rekt

Get Rekt

Context: I was playing Koi-Koi in an online app (not something I've ever done IRL) and I drew a card from the deck (not something you usually do in Koi-Koi) and it was the Rainy Man (hikari of November) but it looked like this. As soon as I drew it, I knew I had already lost.

Kings Nope

Kings Nope

Context: None. I've named the left character Kingsguy, but the pongus Engineer doesn't have a name.

Kmart Injury

Kmart Injury

Context: All I know is that this character is a bat lady.

Lippy and the Cage People

Lippy and the Cage People

(Centre: Lippy. Outside, clockwise from top: Breth, Quist, Modoli, Dansal, Revay, Poy. He/him for Lippy, don't know pronouns for the others.)

Context: This was a children's TV show with nonsensical plots and vaguely educational and/or moralistic tales.

Lippy is a surface dweller who falls into a FAT cave (not just fat or Fat, it's FAT!) containing the Network of Cages, a city of cobbled-together buildings called "cages" in which the Cage People live. Lippy decides to stay in the Network of Cages and learn how the Cage People live. And yes, he's called Lippy despite not having a visible mouth. All the characters are geometric shapes with one eye and stick limbs, and all the cages have names that vaguely sound like they could be countries in Europe. (One of them is literally called Bulgaria. It's a cactus garden.)

The show had a short theme song of the type that just straightforwardly stated the show's premise:

Hey! My name's Lippy and I live in a FAT cave,
Down in the network of cages...

In the only episode I remember, the FAT cave got cold in the winter and the water (in little canals) froze over, and the Cage People claimed patches of ice as theirs, setting up market stalls on them, and also fighting over them. There was one particularly big patch of ice that was blue and was named "🫵 RIGHT!". But eventually, the ice melted, and the whole thing turned out to be pointless. I'm not sure what the lesson is??

I also remember this contextless scene (presumably from a different episode):

Planet Bodies

Magic Rolls

Magic Rolls

Context: It's some kind of fantasy RPG where Egg Kaiser here (name by description because he looks like Von Kaiser from Punch-Out; he had no name in the dream) lives in a forest and gives players a battle tutorial. I don't know what the magic pops are. The name "Magic Rolls" is because I forgot that it was actually "magic pops" when I saved the file.

Also have some gifs of Egg Kaiser

Egg Kaiser idle Egg Kaiser walk

MEGAEMPEROR

MEGAEMPEROR

Context: MEGAEMPEROR was the secretive villain in a vaguely Super Sentai / Power Rangers styled show. In the final battle, he used his psychic powers to toss the heroes and redeemed villains around the room, then invaded their IRC chat and posted "owo notices your weakpoints". Laimala, the yellow ranger, told him to "f**k off", to which MEGAEMPEROR responded ":(".

He bears the likeness of the late Munemaru Koda, who played Doctor Man in Bioman and the Gorma Emperor in Dairanger.

Mr. Boople

Mr Boople

Context: He's amicable, but don't let him draw you into some dubious scheme of his!

Post Lady and Octopus Head

Post Lady

Context: I've named this lady Simone after the fact. Her head is three mooring posts. She's not a hydra. I think she might be a lawyer, but I think my brain is half-remembering Phoenix Wright there. She's fed up with questions about why she didn't become a sailor.

Octopus Head

This other lady I've named Dawn. She's an octopus, not a squid. She's really tall and makes everyone else look short in comparison.

Post Octopus

Very Pretty Lady but Her Head Is a Desk Fan

Fan Head Pretty Lady

Context: She has a spouse/partner whose head is also a desk fan, but I created them consciously, based on a friend's desk fan.

Fan Head Gender Person

Trans Rex and Punkasaur

Trans Rex and Punkasaur

Context: Their very unrealistic colours are intentional. They're on a date at Pizza Hut but the tables and chairs are too small for them. I don't know what they're drinking.

The T. rex lady has been given the name Faith. She's trans which is very important. She appeared in a dream where she was stomping down the road from Desert Bus terrorising some programmers. Her dogtag says "THIS B*TCH AIN'T CIS".

The other lady, Jackie, is a generic sauropod. I created her consciously (IIRC) to be a girlfriend for the T. rex lady. Her non-pride badges are the flags of the US states of South Dakota (3rd from left) and Montana (rightmost); the former because Sue (the T. rex fossil) was found there (near a city called Faith), and the latter because of the Hell Creek formation where many dinosaur fossils have been found.

Ribbon Eye

Ribbon Eye

Context: Or "flpatijg blue magix eyenall wotb colouurfil ribbon trianglestreamers", as I wrote in my notes so I would remember. I think I was thinking of Mad Eye from Monster Sanctuary (had been playing it a lot at the time).

Robotnik Energy

Robotnik Energy

Context: None. I don't know what exactly Robotnik's scheme involves. I forgot specifically whether slood rhymes with flood or food, but it probably rhymes with flood.

The poses are largely traced from stills from the AOSTH episode Sonic Breakout (the one with the "PINGAS Face", even though all he's actually saying there is "it's").

Sovereign, the Sentinel, the Spirit of Interrupting One's Enemies

Sovereign the Sentinel

Context: I met them in a holiday village on a stony spit of land in a bay by the sea. They were initially possessing a Jamaican tourist, who was frantically asking me if I was "young and smart". Then they stopped time and said that "if you are young and smart, then LISTEN", and revealed their true form, but I woke up before they could tell me anything other than their name.

They have one huge yellow glaring eye, which they somehow conceal under a pair of pince-nez glasses. They think their appearance is frightening to others, so they wear clothes so as to look more approachable.

Sheep Friend and the Nonbinary Chair of Spite

Nonbinary Chair of Spite

Context: The sheep friend is nonbinary. They don't have a proper name.

This Tree

This Tree

Context: I think it's a boss enemy. A villain sends it after you to slow you down. It's large and powerful but unintelligent. Its weakpoints are its branches, but damaging them makes it go berserk.

Wrecking Pig

Wrecking Pig

Context: They weren't supposed to look so sad. I don't know why they're doing a handstand.
