In the distant, hi-tech future of 2003...

Advancements in science and technology have lead to increased abuses of science and technology. The world is ravaged by disasters, corruption and governmental bureaucracy.

And in the face of this... the post must still be made to arrive on time.

Through rain and through snow... through gloom of night and heat of day...

Nothing stops the mail!

SPECIAL DELIVERY TRIVECTOR

Origin story

In a press conference with the President of France, regarding the latest developments in power suit technology, the President joked about how soon even postal workers would be equipped with power suits and put to the task. Hearing this, people with more money than sense all over the world thought this was an excellent idea and set about implementing it, resulting in a huge boom of emergency postal services. To deal with the resulting political nightmare, the United Nations founded an international commission called the Global Union of Emergency Postal Enterprises, or GUEPE ("gape", rhymes with crepe).

The biggest emergency postal service in the UK is the Special Public Emergencies and Express Delivery Group, better known as SPEED Group. Special Delivery Trivector was created to be their "special task force", equipped with next-generation power suits and all kinds of awesome tools and gadgets. Their job is to save lives, smite evil, and ensure that all deliveries arrive on time. Nothing stops the mail!
